In the ghetto video clip now in production

Australia: We started shooting the 'In the Ghetto' video clip on the 4th July 2009. It was a day long shoot in a green screen studio using the RED camera, with a cast and crew of over 50 people. Everyone donated their time and energy to the cause.

We would like to thank all those who attended - too many to mention here, but we will be listing all names on the noghettos.org site. We look forward to staying in touch with everyone as we embark on this journey to improve the lives of those living in such poor conditions around the world.

Special thanks go out to Bernie Ryan from Cyber City Films - Director, Benjamin Shirley - Director of Photography, Justine Tasker - artistic direction, Sarah Trick from Matrics Management who supplied many of the fabulous cast, Fernando Barazza for his work on styling and make-up, and Cris Manese for behind the scenes photographic documentation of the day.

USA: A green screen shoot of TONE-Z is scheduled for July 7th in NYC followed by another green screen shoot of The Sweet Inspirations in LA on or around 9th July.

Once all green screen shoots have been completed, editing can begin, this should take about 1 week - before entering the post production phase which should take about 2 weeks to complete.

Mick Gerace helps Child in the Ghetto

Mick Gerace has donated a track - 'In the Ghetto' to noghettos.org and the proceeds will go towards helping individuals and organisations working in ghettos around the world to continue their good work.

The track features some heavyweight performers, including Tone-z, The Sweet Inspirations (backing vocals) and James Burton on guitar. Urban flavours flow with haunting lyrics in a style that breaks new ground, and appeals to a wider audience.

If this track does well, we can help many. 100% of the proceeds will go to charties.

noghettos.org launches first stage web presence

noghettos.org (ng.org) went live today with its new, online portal. Its aim is to provide a platform for a global community to communicate, develop strategies for and participate in real projects devoted to restoring dignity, developing self sufficiency and providing the appropriate tools to those living in the most poverty stricken places on earth.

We hope that we have provided enough information for you to get an idea of what we are about, however if there is anything else you would like to know about us, we would welcome any enquiries that you may have.

Over time this site will develop and new features and tools will be provided so that the job we all face in improving the living conditions of all human beings is made that little bit easier.
